Ca’ Del Grevino is the signature wine brand of our winery representing regality, tradition and opulence.
Nestled in California’s prestigious Central Coast is the lovely Santa Maria Valley. The unique micro-climate of the valley produces cool mornings and long warm afternoons. The combination of our highest quality fruit and obsessive attention to detail produces our award winning Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Syrah wines.
Pinot Noir is grown around the world and is considered one of the most difficult grapes to cultivate, requiring diligence and skill in the vineyard. When grown and vinified properly, it produces elegant, delicate wines that reflect the terroir of the vineyard.
The Pinot Noir planted in Santa Maria Valley is uniquely suited for ripening this difficult varietal. When we harvest, there are beautiful aromas surrounding the crusher. The wine is garnet in color, with white pepper notes finishing and a nice rounded mouth-feel and structure. There are aromas of raspberry and fresh pine tree. The wine is fruit driven, possessing a creamy texture.

“Piquant black raspberry, sweet anise, thyme and game notes show on the nose of this bottling from a new brand that took over the Addamo Vineyards property. On the palate, there’s a nice interplay between snappy cranberry fruit and the garrigue.” —Matt Kettman

Syrah is widely planted throughout the world and does especially well in the Rhone Valley of France, Australia and the West Coast of the US. It is dark-skinned and highly resistant to disease but can be prone to over-cropping, so constant diligence in the vineyard is required to bring out the best in this varietal.
This Syrah is soft and full bodied on the palate. It has lovely tasting notes of black cracked pepper and peppermint. Balanced and nicely structured with a proper balance of tannins and acid possessing a long and lingering finish. A balanced taste and full-bodied texture makes our Syrah a dynamic representation of our vineyards’ potential. It is best when paired, with fish, shell fish, barbecued and roasted chicken.

“This is a very distinct and unique Syrah, starting with subdued black fruit, minty chocolate, crushed pepper and grapeseed aromas. The palate is light and savory in style, with pepper, tar, roasted meat and burnt sugar flavors that finish with a cocoa and coffee touch.” —Matt Kettman

Chardonnay produces some of the greatest white wines in the world and is recognized for its broad range of flavors, which are largely determined by climate and terrior. In cooler climates, it shows high acid and crisp apple and pear notes. Warmer vineyards produce Chardonnay full of citrus and tropical fruit notes.
Chardonnay is known as the king of whites and this one holds up to that reputation. Our Chardonnay is fermented and aged in 100 % new French oak barrels and undergoes 100% malo-lactic fermentation. This wine finishes with a pleasant, balanced acidity. Nice tropical aromas mixed well with toasted oak and balanced acidity. This wine can be enjoyed with Prosciutto and brie.

“There’s a crushed nut aroma on the nose of this bottling, along with sour tangerine and chamomile. Dried lemons and lime peels show on the sip, which is bitter with pithy flavors and framed with a bit of acidic zip.” —Matt Kettman
The Riesling grape was originally planted in Germany, where the cool climate produces wines of bright, crisp acidity and floral aromas. In warmer areas, such as ours, Riesling shows balanced citrus flavors of lime zest and peach. While many Rieslings are sweet, ours is of a drier style.
Our winery is good at making White Riesling. A good growing environment and careful cultivation makes the wine crisp and refreshing. It is complex and balanced, with lime and peach flavors which are sweet in taste. The pleasant soft and fragrant bouquet stays on the tip of the tongue after drinking. This wine is with a vigorous aftertaste and perfect long lasting structure.

“There’s a classic touch of petrol on the nose of this bottling, as well as richer notes of candied lemon, marmalade, preserved lime and dried citrus. On the palate, it’s oily and viscous, but honey, lemon syrup and tangerine zest flavors lighten it considerably. A great all-around experience.” —Matt Kettman

Grenache is widely grown in Spain and the Southern Rhone of France, where it provides the backbone for Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas. While lighter in color than some other reds, Grenache presents with lovely berry and spice notes and can, with careful vineyard management, create some of the most elegant and complex wines in the world.
Notes of boysenberries, plums and cassis. There is a floral core to this wine that tends to be rose-like in its aromatic profile and is very appealing.

Dolcetto translates to “little sweet one” in Italian, although the wines are perfectly dry by modern day wine making terms. In the vineyard Dolcetto is similar to Pinot Noir in the sense that it is rather sensitive to its soils and climate. In the cellar the grape’s dark purple skins require only a short maceration time to produce deeply colored wine with good tannin. Ultimately in our California soil the finished wines are medium bodied yet retain the candied cherry, licorice and almond flavor characteristics of their Italian heritage.
Nose of exotic spices & herbs, backed by layers of redcurrants, raspberries and summer fruits. Flavors of plums on palate with fine tannins. Medium bodied, elegant with lingering acidity at the finish.

“From a grape that’s rarely planted in the Central Coast, this bottling shows loads of earthy aromas, from wet soil to crushed gravel, as well as tight blackberry, dried dill and white pepper notes. There’s a touch of ripeness to the palate, with tobacco-laced red cherry and blueberry fruit, gravelly minerality and a firm, tannic structure.” —Matt Kettman
