Description
Varietal Qualities
The Riesling grape was originally planted in Germany, where the cool climate produces wines of bright, crisp acidity and floral aromas. In warmer areas, such as ours, Riesling shows balanced citrus flavors of lime zest and peach. While many Rieslings are sweet, ours is of a drier style.
Wine Notes
Fruity and ripe fruits of pineapple, meyer lemon and ginger on the nose as well as varietal scents of petrol. Ripe and red apple, pear and the beautiful mingling of acid and sugar support the expressive fruitiness quite wonderfully. Slightly off dry.

Vintage 2014: 88 points, Wine Enthusiast
“Yellow rose, honey-glazed almond, tangerine peel and beeswax aromas combine for a complex nose in this bottling from a new label. It’s quite dry and tightly wound on the palate, where waxy flavors of sour orange, lemon spritz and grapefruit peel leave a bittersweet impression, finishing with a hint of petrol.” —Matt Kettman
