Ca’ Del Grevino Syrah
Syrah is widely planted throughout the world and does especially well in the Rhone Valley of France,Australia and the West Coast of the US. It is dark-skinned and highly resistant to disease but can be prone to over-cropping, so constant diligence in the vineyard is required to bring out the best in this varietal.
This Syrah is soft and full bodied on the palate. It has lovely tasting notes of black cracked pepper and peppermint. Balanced and nicely structured with a proper balance of tannins and acid possessing a long and lingering finish. A balanced taste and full-bodied texture makes our Syrah a dynamic representation of our vineyards’ potential. It is best when paired, with fish, shell fish, barbecued and roasted chicken.

“This is a very distinct and unique Syrah, starting with subdued black fruit, minty chocolate, crushed pepper and grape seed aromas. The palate is light and savoryin style, with pepper, tar, roasted meat and burnt sugar flavors that finish with a cocoa and coffee touch.” —Matt Kettman
