Varietal Qualities

Grenache is widely grown in Spain and the Southern Rhone of France, where it provides the backbone for Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas. While lighter in color than some other reds, Grenache presents with lovely berry and spice notes and can, with careful vineyard management, create some of the most elegant and complex wines in the world.

Wine Notes

Notes of boysenberries, plums and cassis. There is a floral core to this wine that tends to be rose-like inits aromatic profile and is very appealing.
